The Prince

The Principality of Sylvestria is an elective monarchy. The Prince, or Ardhal, is selected for a life term by the Ancient and Celestial Order of Tel Kappa, which consists of several senior political and religious figures. The Prince carries out public rituals, represents the people of Sylvestria, and is the fons honorem from which all titles, awards, and honors are bestowed. In cooperation with the Council of Rodhs, or Lords, the Prince oversees the administration of justice. The government is organized into six bureaus each reporting to the Director General. The Prince appoints the Director General in consultation with the Ancient and Celestial Order of Tel Kappa. The Prince is officially styled "Prince of the Sylvestrians", highlighting the responsibility and role of the prince as leader and protector of the people.

The Director General

The Director General is the Head of Government of the Principality of Sylvestria and oversees the daily governance of the nation on behalf of the prince. All government bureaus report directly to the Director General. The Director General frequently represents Sylvestria internationally in his capacity as senior diplomat and ambassador plenipotentiary. The current Director General is His Illustrious Excellency, Toth of Highdenn.
